2015 - 2019
2015
For the 20th anniversary of Millet in Bloom, a commemorative Wagon Wheel Flower Bed was installed at the entrance to Pipestone Creek Park with support from the Millet Lions and the Millet Agricultural Society. In the park itself, colourful picnic tables were installed between the Splash Pad and the soccer fields. The 20th Anniversary Wagon Wheel Bed was given special recognition in the Class of Champions category at the National Communities in Bloom awards in Vaughan, Ontario.
In honour of her contributions to Communities in Bloom in both Millet and beyond, Millet in Bloom presented Bernice Knight with a Special Local Beautification Award.
2016
The Millet Community Cemetery was a major focus for beautification and heritage conservation efforts in 2016; Canadian flags were installed at the graves of veterans throughout the cemetery.
At the national awards in Regina, Saskatchewan, Millet was recognized in the Class of Champions for Volunteerism and Community Partnerships, a testament to Millet in Bloom's ongoing place in the centre of Millet life. Millet in Bloom's floral displays were also recognized with the National Capital Commission Floral Displays Award.
2017
To mark Canada's 150th anniversary in 2017, Millet in Bloom created the Canada 150 Bed along 45 Avenue, a bed uniquely and fittingly shaped as a maple leaf.
After many years competing in the Class of Champions Small Category, Millet was awarded first place in the Class of Champions Medium Category for the Millet & District Museum.
2018
At the 2018 Communities in Bloom National Symposium held in Strathcona County, Millet was given special mention in the Circle of Excellence category for Excellent Maintenance of Flowers and Turf.
2019
Part of keeping a town beautiful is making the most out of change: in 2019, two spruce trees that had long stood in front of the School Bell Kiosk Garden were cut down. However, rather than being removed, the stumps were carved and painted by a local artist, who transformed them into the shapes of a beaver and a flower. The cheerful sculptures now greet visitors to the garden, town office, and the museum.
Millet in Bloom continued competing at the national level in the non-population categories. At the 2019 awards ceremony in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Millet was once again recognized in the Circle of Excellence category, this time for the CP Railway Garden Beds. Millet was also awarded the Home Hardware Beauti-Tone Heritage Conservation Award, a win shared with the City of Edmonton.
