How Does the Community Benefit?

Communities in Bloom judges a community on 6 areas of beautification: Community Appearance, Heritage Conservation, Environmental Action, Floral Displays, Landscaping, and Urban Forestry. These categories each cover a range of initatives and projects that have significantly enchanced quality of life in Millet and have wide-reaching benfits that extend beyond the Communities in Bloom competition. Community Involvement, the 'seventh category', is integral to each of the other categories: it takes a community to put together the show-stopping projects for which Millet is known.
